NES PhD THESIS PRIZE AWARD: Call for Submission
The Executive Council of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) hereby announces the call for submissions for the 2023 PhD Thesis Prize Award Competition. The prizes will be awarded for the top three PhD theses in 2022/2023. The award is open to all PhD candidates that successfully defended their theses in 2022/2023 academic year. Assessment will be based on the following criteria: contribution to knowledge; originality; language/style; creativity; and coherence.
There will be an award panel to choose the prize winners. Interested students should send soft copies of their defended theses to: nesibadan@gmail.com. Submitted theses should be signed by their supervisors and HODs with evidence that they have passed the oral defence as well as undergone final correction and copy-editing for spelling and grammatical errors. The deadline for submission is 30 June 2023. Winners will be announced and prizes will be presented at the 2023 Annual Conference of the NES.
